Terms of Use
By downloading, accessing, or using Strobfy, you agree to these Terms of Use and to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Photosensitivity warning. Strobfy generates rapid flashing, strobing, glitch, and high-contrast effects. A small number of people may experience seizures, blackouts, or other symptoms when exposed to flashing lights or patterns, even with no prior history.
Do not use the app if you are sensitive to flashing lights. Stop immediately and consult a doctor if you experience dizziness, altered vision, disorientation, involuntary movement, or loss of awareness.
1. Your content
You retain ownership of your imported media and exported content. You are responsible for having all rights and permissions required to use, edit, publish, or distribute that content, including the rights of any person shown in it.
2. Acceptable use
Do not use Strobfy to create or distribute content that is unlawful, infringes someone else’s rights, or is intended to harm others — including content designed to trigger photosensitive reactions in people who have not chosen to view it.
3. In-app purchases
Persistent Text may be unlocked through a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase processed by Apple. The App Store provides the final localized price and handles billing. Refunds are granted by Apple under its own terms; the developer cannot issue refunds directly. Purchases can be restored through the App Store on any device signed in with the same Apple Account.
4. Local storage and data loss
Projects and settings are stored locally on your device. Deleting the app, clearing its data, or losing access to the device may permanently remove unfinished projects. Export anything you want to keep.
5. Sample images
The sample images shown before you import your own photos are courtesy of NASA and are used in accordance with NASA’s media guidelines. Their use does not imply any endorsement by NASA.
6. Availability and changes
Strobfy is provided on an “as is” basis. Features may change, and the app may be updated or discontinued. These Terms may be updated when the app’s features or legal requirements change; the current version is available inside the app and on this page.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for damages arising from your use of the app, including lost projects or exported content. Statutory liability, in particular for injury to life, body or health, or for intent and gross negligence, remains unaffected.
8. Governing law
German law applies, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which you have your habitual residence.
