Privacy Policy

Strobfy is developed and operated by Stefan Schuster. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Strobfy mobile application.

1. Our privacy approach

Strobfy processes your photos, text, and creative settings locally on your device. Strobfy does not require an account and does not operate its own servers for storing or processing your content.

2. Photos and exports

Strobfy accesses only the photos you choose through Apple’s system photo picker. Your media is processed locally, is not uploaded to Strobfy servers, is not accessed by the developer, and is not used for advertising or analytics. You retain ownership and control of your content.

Generated videos are saved or shared only when you choose to export them. If you share an export through another app or service, that provider’s privacy policy applies.

3. Personal data

Strobfy does not require registration and does not intentionally collect personal information such as your name, email address, location, contacts, or account details. The app does not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics services.

4. In-app purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. Strobfy does not receive or store your payment card or banking information. Apple may provide limited transaction information required to verify or restore a purchase and handles that information under its own privacy policies.

5. Local storage

Strobfy may store your app settings, purchase-entitlement status, current project content, and imported project media locally on your device. Deleting the app may remove local settings and project information. Non-consumable purchases can be restored through the App Store.

6. Data sharing

Strobfy does not sell, rent, or share your personal data. Content is transferred to another app or service only when you actively choose to export or share it using Apple’s system features.

7. Children’s privacy

Strobfy is not designed to collect personal information from children. Because the app can generate rapid flashing effects, children should use Strobfy only with appropriate adult supervision and after reviewing the photosensitivity warning inside the app.

8. Data security

Because projects and media are processed locally, Strobfy does not transmit them to its own servers. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and choosing where exported content is stored or shared.

9. Your choices

You control which media you select, which effects you apply, whether you export or share content, and whether you purchase additional features. You can remove local app data by deleting projects or uninstalling the app.

10. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. Because Strobfy processes content only on your device and holds no personal data on any server, there is normally no stored data for such a request to cover. If you contact the developer by email, that message is processed only to answer you.

11. Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when Strobfy’s features or legal requirements change. The latest version is always available inside the app and on this page.
